Going through the book of Ezekiel and reading time and time again how the Lord reminds Israel, “It is not for your sake, O house of Israel, that I am about to act, but for the sake of my holy name” A well needed reminder that we are not the center of the universe. Yes, our Father reaches out in love but it’s ultimately to make much of Himself and not us. 

May that stick with you
May it humble you
& may it reveal your desperate need of Him
